OH18 Orc Herd Guard

"The Orcish horde moves in great tribes across the plains and then into the valleys of Men and the mountains of the Dwarves. Brutal and unforgiving the Orcs pillage and plunder at will but never seem to slow or tire. Some put this down to their cruel strength but others, more scholarly, think there is more to this than meets the eye of knights and foot soldiers atop the town walls. Raiding parties have been seen far back from the battlefield and our own cavalry have pursued them back to the encampments of the tribe. While this is dangerous it is most important to know the ways of the foe. The few knights who returned told of Orcs quite unlike the ones we faced in the fray. They rode ponies or walked carrying long spears and while quite willing to mount an attack under duress they were more intent on the husbanding of great flocks of sheep and herds of cattle. These herd guards must be the providers of the food that the Orcish warriors consume as they advance upon the plains. It seems the Orcs are more of a people and less the savage animals we thought them to be."
